What does a typical skin and mole check involve?
Your MoleMap Whanganui skin check involves a comprehensive skin examination by an experienced melanographer. They’ll check your skin from head to toe, including under your nails, the palms of your hands and the soles of your feet. Any suspicious moles or spots are photographed using a dermatoscope. This produces high-quality images that can be magnified. The images are sent for dermatologist diagnosis. Within around 10 working days you’ll receive a full report and recommendation on the next steps—if action is needed.
