Melanoma is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers in New Zealand. If you’re concerned about a patient, you want to fast-track a skin check. With 50+ clinics across New Zealand, MoleMap makes it easy.
Our melanographers are highly skilled and empowered with the latest AI technology to spot suspicious lesions quickly and with high-level accuracy. Dermoscopic images of any moles of concern are sent electronically for dermatologist diagnosis. Bypass the waiting list. Get timely treatment (if needed), and a better outcome for patients.
To refer a patient please email their referral letter to referrals@molemap.co.nz. Our team will call them to discuss our services and schedule an appointment.
Alternatively, for any other enquiry either call 0800 665 362 or contact us online.
For more than 25 years, MoleMap’s proven skin mapping and mole monitoring program has been detecting skin cancers earlier and with greater accuracy than visual checks alone. This is what sets us apart. Our unrivalled experience and world-first early detection system gives you and your patient the reassurance that either they don’t have skin cancer or that it has been found early enough to be treated.
When you refer a patient to MoleMap you have the added reassurance that we don’t just check. We triple check. One of our skilled melanographers performs a detailed skin check. Any suspicious lesions are digitally imaged and run through an AI-driven assessment tool. Images of any ‘at risk’ moles are sent electronically for dermatologist assessment and diagnosis. That’s three sets of expert eyes and complete peace of mind for your patient.
Full Body MoleMap is our most comprehensive skin check service. It includes:
Our SkinCheck service is intended for people who are at low risk of skin cancer but have noticed a new mole or changing mole and want a quick and accurate diagnosis. It includes:
Unlike our Full Body MoleMap service, it does not include proactive monitoring of ‘at risk’ moles or unlimited free spot checks for 12 months.
Reports are usually sent out within a week of the patient’s appointment. Your patient will receive an email advising them to login to their personal My MoleMap online portal. Here, they can view the clinical report, including the dermatologist’s comments and recommendations, see their images and give permission for other people (like their GP) to access their images.
