Covid-19

What MoleMap is doing to protect the health of our patients and our team.

Mask requirements

Whilst mask use is no longer mandatory in the primary care setting, our melanographers may wear a mask during your appointment. It is recommended you also wear a mask as you will be in close contact during your skin check. The use of a mask helps prevent the spread of respiratory conditions such as COVID-19, Influenza and RSV. Some of our clinics are located within another healthcare business and as such, these sites may have specific mask requirements that our melanographers and patients will need to respect for entry. During your skin check, the mask may be removed for a short period to complete a review of the face and scalp.

COVID-19 Vaccination status

MoleMap will see all patients whether vaccinated or not vaccinated.

Screening upon arrival

As a health service provider, the safety of our patients, staff and visitors are our top priority. As such, all patients are screened upon arrival to our clinic to ensure they are well before commencing the appointment. This process may include all/any of the following. Temperature check, asking if you currently have any cold/flu symptoms or checking if you are awaiting the result of a Covid test.

COVID Safe plan

MoleMap has developed a COVID-19 Safe plan in line with expert health advice which has been implemented across all our clinics.

What we are doing to protect our patients and our team:

  • Clear written information on the door of the clinic about any restrictions of access, e.g. only one patient/visitor in the waiting room/reception at a time.
  • Our melanographers in clinic have been trained in infection-prevention measures.
  • Our daily cleaning procedures are already thorough, and we are continuing to take extra precautions with cleaning and disinfection of equipment and contact surfaces at the beginning and end of each day and, before and after every appointment.
  • We are only using well-ventilated rooms, which are thoroughly cleaned and ventilated between appointments.

If you have a booking with us, please do not attend your appointment if you:

  • Show symptoms of COVID-19 or suspect you may be ill.

If you do need to re-book please call on 1800 665 362 and we will immediately update your appointment day/time.
