Total Body Photography

There is one universal truth about melanoma, it is change. Total Body Photography creates a complete medical record of your skin surface and each individual mole. This baseline is referred to at follow-up appointments to identify melanoma early.

Full-Body Skin Check

A melanographer (registered nurse qualified in skin cancer and skin cancer imaging) conducts a thorough examination of your skin surface, assessing any suspicious moles using a dermatoscope – a device used to view the intricate structure of a mole.

Dermoscopic (Subsurface) and Clinical Imaging

Dermoscopic imaging focuses on the internal structure of moles detecting what cannot be seen with the naked eye. Clinical imaging creates high-resolution images of the external structure of your mole.

Patient Education

Patient education is an important part of our service. Your appointment includes self-examination and sun protection education. You will also receive a self-monitor kit. For our full body MoleMap patients we provide all mole images via an online portal.

Dermatologist Diagnosis

All of your imaged moles and associated information is sent to be diagnosed by a registered dermatologist with a minimum of 13 years of experience. Booking an appointment with MoleMap provides rapid access to dermatologist opinion.

Dermoscopic (Subsurface) and Clinical Imaging

A comprehensive report is prepared for you and your designated GP or specialist. This includes images of specific moles, dermatologist comments and a suggested follow-up program to monitor any suspicious moles.
