MoleMap: a winning place to work

Of the 600 companies across Australia and New Zealand that entered the AFR BOSS Best Place to Work 2024 awards, MoleMap was awarded third place in their category.

Michelle Aquilina, CEO of MoleMap Australia and New Zealand, says:

This achievement is a testament to our people, making MoleMap one of the greatest places to work!
Five months ago MoleMap was also honoured with the Absolute IT Supreme Scale-Up Award for significant growth, culture, and innovation. Leading with head and heart, this latest recognition demonstrates the next evolution of leading a business to success, prioritising and integrating all aspects of the business ecosystem by putting people at the centre of everything we do. We've created an environment of inclusivity where our team can thrive, being acknowledged through this award fills me with immense pride.
A huge thanks to all our people for bringing our mission and vision to life and creating one of the greatest places to work across Australia and New Zealand!

Recognising nurses as unsung heroes

MoleMap’s model of care clearly shows the significant contribution nurses make to healthcare. Our melanographers are all registered nurses, with additional training in skin cancer detection.

“We know registered nurses are qualified clinicians, yet they are the unsung heroes. We founded an innovative model, a nurse-led model of care that puts patients at the forefront,” says Ms Aquilina.

What’s more, the caring and empathetic nature of nurses ensures MoleMap patients feel comfortable and at ease. This is important as regular skin checks are an essential factor in early skin cancer treatment and prevention.
